Description and Location of the Finca
It was a difficult but exciting day for Pilar and Juan, who were both working in the health service as nurse and doctor, when they decided after 30 years in the profession, to totally change the course of their lives. Enthusiastic nature-lovers, they chose to leave their medical centre and began a search in Andalusia for the right place to develop their new project: to find a plot of land in the country where they could build houses for rural tourism. It was no easy task because the place had to fulfill five fundamental conditions: Nature, Tranquility, Comfort, History and Local Cuisine.
It took nearly two years. At last they found the place: the Sierra de Aracena. With good reason they now call it: Mountain Paradise.
